Welcome to Panl

The following demonstrates a typical content block in Panl. Colour can be applied anywhere from the title bar to the content - fully in line with your branding.
Text content can be styled in a variety of headers and body content including nested bullet lists, bold, italic, super/subscript and underlined (see below). Abbreviations and references become interactive - showing meanings when clicked and available throughout the entire Panl.

The title bar of each content block can have extra functionality: click the down arrow for more functions. Click the references icon to see every reference contained in this block. Click the like icon and we have captured your sentiment. And on every block you will find the user hints icon containing helpful shortcuts and tips on how to get the best out of Panl.

Panl is fully multimedia

Panl has integration with all types of media from simple data structures such as HTML tables:

Images - and where graphics are very detailed, the system can provide scrollable and zoomable options to increase legibility for our audience especially as Panl has been developed to solve the problem of viewing scientific poster and display panels on a myriad of mobile devices.

This image is zoomable - opening a popup where the image can be zoomed in/out and freely moved around for optimal viewing.

Audio and video

Panl also enables the embedding of video and audio into content. Videos can be embedded anywhere within the content.

Audio narration can also be added to content blocks - accessed from the title bar menu where you see a headphones icon. Simply click the icon to open and play the audio. A great way to further engage your audience.

Embed slide presentations

With Panl you can share important slide presentations with your audience within the content using the Slidr player, providing simple navigation and optional download of the media. Panl also works on touchscreens - so where downloads are available, a QR code is provided so the user can scan and get the media onto their device.

Interactive and animated figures

With Panl you can also bring to life static figures using the Figur feature. Each figure can be made interactive - where the user moves forward and backwards through the figure build, or automated - where the builds are automatic. Each transition in a Figur can be similar to PowerPoint (fade, slide, bounce - left/right/down/up etc), and a delay can be set for each transition. Figurs can also have coloured backgrounds.
The following examples show both interactive and automated Figurs.

Extra information and content

Panl enables the embedding of extra information anywhere within block content - see the extra info bars below. This extra content is viewable by clicking the icon which opens a popup window. Any type of content can be added including all of the above features - text, images, multimedia, slides (Slidr) and figures (Figur).

Panl keyword searching

Panl includes a wealth of intuitive features to enable the user to find exactly what they are looking for. These include a popup keyword search that finds every iteration of the search word across the entire Panl - showing results with keywords highlighted and deep links to the found content blocks. Take a look at the menu bar to the bottom of the screen where you'll find many other advanced features.

Panl for user enquiries

Panl enables users to submit enquiries within the system. There are two native options for this, the first being a simple email generation where the user's email is opened and a new email created, pre-populated with the target email address.
The second option is a web-form that includes up to 5 text fields that each can be custom-titled and made mandatory if required. Submission of the form will capture the enquiry in a database for processing.

Panl for touchscreen kiosks

Panl also includes features for when it is used as a touchscreen kiosk application. These are QR code generation for media links and on-screen keyboard for keyword searching.
